Creative Psychotherapy Groups

At Phoenix Healing Arts Therapy, we offer supportive and engaging group experiences for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Group programs combine creative expression, connection, and therapeutic support within a safe and welcoming environment.

Participating in a group can help reduce feelings of isolation, build confidence, develop social connections, and provide opportunities to learn from others who may share similar experiences.

Our group therapy room has been thoughtfully designed to create a calm, welcoming, and creative environment where participants feel safe exploring, connecting, and expressing themselves.

If you wish to have your group therapy in your community centres, schools, aged care residences, or workplaces, please get in touch with us to schedule your time.

Group art therapy can be tailored to meet the needs of different communities—from supporting children and young people in schools, to enhancing wellbeing and social connection in aged care, or fostering team-building and stress reduction in workplace settings.

Communities, organisations, and service providers can apply for group art therapy programs to address a wide range of needs, such as:

  • Mental health and wellbeing

  • Stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation

  • Grief, loss, or trauma support

  • Social connection and reducing isolation

  • Personal development and self-esteem

  • Team-building and workplace wellbeing

Each program is tailored in consultation with the organisation to ensure it effectively meets the specific needs of the group. Specialist group therapy programs can be customised in terms of length, focus, and approach, making them suitable for children, young people, adults, or older adults.

Through creative expression and shared experiences, group art therapy helps participants build resilience, strengthen relationships, and discover new ways of coping and thriving together.
